Movies-Zane thor

Every time I meet new people I'm like to ask them what is their favorit movies. I feel like this is a great conversation starter with people you don't know. When asking a group of people I'm always suprised by what they say. Yesterday I met a group and playing my, "what's your favorite movie" game, I asked and a 50 something white ladie who looked very prim and proper, supprised me with "FIRDAY". On occasions someone will tell me a movie I've never heard of. Today that movie was "Murphy's Romance". In a room full of women I was suprised one girl said her favorite movie was "Gladiator". It's always fun to not only to ask them what movie was their favorite but also to talk a bit about the movie and what they remember most about the movie. If you ever want to get to know someone ask them "What's your favorite movie"

Music and the past

It's funny music can take you back to a specific time and place in your life. Even after you learn about the signer and the craziness in their life (ie Michael Jackson), it doesn’t erase the memories his songs has created in your life. Music runs through life like a score of a movie. Highlighted in each life is the music that comes to your mind as you listen to songs from that era.
I sat today listening to song long past their prime. Remembering the people and times. It's all in the past, as you sit listening to these song you look back at a long traveled road, you don't wish to traverse it again. Yet you yearn to look at it, to analyze it with a microscope, to find those things that made you most happy about that time. At times this can be a daunting task even depressing at times, and still you wish the feelings of youth the excitement of exploring the road that only you could navigate. You reach a destination of uncertainty, the destination that has you sitting at a computer blogging out your life for the whole world to see.

This is my life yesterday but tomorrow brings new hope. I've never been engulfed in the past not to notice that the future is limitless before me. I know as clear as anything in my life that I am the "master of my destiny". The destination I reach are obtained because I stretched forth my hand and took hold of what could be.
